Main attractions

Our main ring attractions this year include Galloping Acrobatics and David Seamark’s sheepdog display during which he will invite children into the arena to assist with the performance.

Along with many other displays, we also have donkey rides and a reptile display to keep the little ones entertained. There will be face painting, a magician, fairground ride, bouncy castle and inflatable slide, and much more……….

What is there to see

The theme for the 2020 show is ‘Transport through the ages

Livestock judging will be going on until 3.30 p.m. when the champion animal from each species arrives in the Main Ring for the ‘Best Live Exhibit in Show’ class. In addition to some friendly donkeys for donkey rides, there are also many more ‘exotic’ animals to see at the show this year!

We have classic Vehicles and Vintage tractors to see and just near by the Vintage Stationary Engines if your interested in early mechanical technology. It’s well worth taking a look at some of the early attempts to resolve design problems before the electric motor came along and replaced them as a power source in the workshops and on the farms.

We typically have about 100 trade stalls to look around throughout the day, plus a heritage and craft marquee.

Our entertainment trailer is always popular and will be going for the whole day. This year we have the Wrinkly Rockers and Fiddlers Green back again, plus Miss Sarah-Jane (1940’s vocalist). Just magic will be entertaining the crowds, and Rainbow Rhythms will wow you with their dance moves!

This is all in addition to a full programme of events to be held in the main ring
